Wanli Tires...Feedback Please
I just recently purchased some 17's with 4 like new Wanli s1088 tires 205/40/17.
I have a 1993 Honda Civic Si Coupe lowered on Koni shocks/neuspeed springs. The car is quite low. Before i purchased the 17's, i was running some 15" 2004 "fat five" Civic Si wheels with 195/60/15 Bridgestone Potenza re92's (Balloon tires). The ride was quite smooth and quiet. Now that i have the new 17's with the Wanli tires i seem to have ALOT of "humming" noise...mainly at lower speeds or while braking at a stop. The tires are installed the correct way on my car, and i have rotated them but the "humming" noise is still there. Does anyone else here have/or had the same problem with these Wanli tires? I only hear the "humming" coming from the front wheels of the car. Is it possible my front wheel bearings are worn out? My car has 117 000 original kms on it and the car has been babied. Thanks guys  |
Wanli Tires
Wanli Tires are not the best quality. I bought a set of 18's and they started to crack at the sidewalls one by one.
Also the beater that I recenly bought came with some 13 inch Wanli tires...They make awful noise. IMO stay away from these Save your money and do it right once |
...I have been running them all year...(4k this year) and have had no probs with them...even with the camber on the rear end...there is no wear....unlike my kumho's which wore horribly...
