vtec solinoid

vtec solinoid

hey guys my friend gota d15b in his car when he bought it but theres no wires connect to the vtec solioid where do i get these at honda? and if so what r they called?

the problem is that a d15b is a non vtec engine......are u sure u lookinf for vtec solinoid wires?

D15B(?) 1.5L SOHC Non-VTEC 88-95 Civic 62-102hp ....i guesss this is for usdm then..my bad...

yes D15B is 3 stage vtec 1.5l.

So you know where the vtec solenoid is? or you looking for it? The Vtec solenoid should be on the left by the distributor, its a small cylinder shaped thing with wires coming off it.

just find the pin outs on the ecu and run the wires from the solenoid and the control switch to the ecu. You need the connectors they shouldnt be too hard to find. there is a pressure switch, solenoid switch and ground.

this is a 3 stage vtec system though ... isn't it a little different wiring from the on/off function found int he 2 stage vtec in most vtec engines?

next to impossible to find the d15b tranny/ecu

wont beable to get it to work

it didnt come wit hthe ecu called up lucky star they had it so i grabd it
