vibrations inside the car.. help

I gotta 90dx with ZC dohc in it.. bought it like that from this guy a year ago.. it never used to vibrate... I used to run it with an si ECU but my idle became low so I swithed to 89 integra ECU and it runs the engine a bit rich now, but I dunno if that's my problem..

these vibrations of steering wheel and dash started about 2 months after I switched ECUs.. it never used to do that..

I went to the shop and this mechanic told me that the mounts are in good shape so he doesnt think that's the problem..

what else could cause this?? timing belt? fuel injection?? something else???

if anyone can give me some suggestions of what to do please let me know.. think is really annoying.. all the vibrating..

it doesnt vibrate as bad when the car is cold.. when it gets warm it vibrates

thanx

if its vibrating at idle/rough idle then maybe the idle is set too low and needs to come up a couple hundred rpm...how bad does it vibrate?

i think its the engine mount

when its idling low.. it vibrates
when u go/accelerate its gone right?
that means.. when u accelerate the engine is in gear and working/revving higher making it take pressure off the mount

when ur idling.. its probably leaning a lot on the mount causing the whole inside of the car to vibrate

I guess it is mounts ??

it's 5 speed and yeah it only vibrates when the car is stopped , warm and just idling.. mechanic says engine mounts are ok and I did try increasing idle rpm and it made no difference.. if it cant be anything else but engine mounts.. I guess it could be them..

well do u have polyurathane engine mounts/inserts or are they stock rubber style?

if they are the harder urathane mounts/inserts then u will get some vibration at idle, its just the engines normal vibrations and with harder mounts it is transfered into the chassis rather than being dampened by the rubber mounts

stock motor mounts are expensive...may I suggest gettin some urathane mount inserts and seal em with 3m window weld...a stock mount retail anywhere from 100-130bucks and a insert kit costs 110 (for all 4 mounts) a tube of window weld is like 10bucks...and for a fraction of the cost u have urathane mounts!
