Vibrant Performance

has anyone ever purchased anything from Vibrant Performance?

Im looking at their catback exhaust for the 92 civic, they say they pulled 5 hp over the band with it, and i got quoted for it around $350 or something like that @ local parts store.

ive just never heard one or seen one yet...

anyone have any opinions on their parts?

stainless steel? if it is, go for it... sounds like a good price(only if it's full stainless steel but i highly doubt that..) and just replace the muffler to whatever you like later on...

I'm pretty sure that everyone's gonna say "NO"... oh, well...

good luck

I have a vibrant exhaust system. I must say it's the best exhausts I have ever seen. The architecture of it looks amazing on the car and the muffler isn't too loud and annoying and when driving on the highway it's not too loud. Personally, I would never get any other exhaust other than vibrant. Great exhaust

You do know that they purches alot of their products from the the same suppliers as Ractive, don't you?

Everyone says Ractive is crap, yet they want Vibrant........I chuckle when I think about this.

Here.......check this site out.........recognize some of the produts?

They don't have any logos on it yet. That's becuse they purches directly from the manufacturer before they put logs/names on the products.

Toms Motor Sport

Ractive.....APC....Vibrant....(just to name a few) do this as well.....the only diff is that they put their own names/logos on the products, then they sell it to you.

:edit: Fixed link.

the v2 catback on vibrant compared to the '92 civic hb catback' on tom motorsport

also, the intake pics u posted... they arent in their e-product guide...

I said....

they purches alot of their products from the the same suppliers
The word here is "alot", not everything.

Remeber....the manufactures overseas have different price points for their products they produce.....if Ractive said that that want an exhast that will retail for $200.....they will look at styles that fit that criteria, then buy them and ship them here, then sell it to you.

Now if APC says they want something that will retail for $300, that list will be different.

But remember......they make all of them....it's just that the companies here, don't want to have ALL the same products as the next guy. That's why some products are the same, and some are different

Heres the "name brand" twin...... (sorry if some of the pics are small).

Some of the stuff is EXACTLY the same....some have been changed just a bit for legal reason...(they wanted a copywrite on the design)

Lets say I have loads of cash, and I want an air filter that has the "TCC" logo on it.......I would call up the manufacturer overseas....pick a style of filter that would appeal to alot of members....send them a file with the "TCC" logo in it.....pay a set amount for say 500 peices...they would then take the model of air filter I picked...put the logo on it...then they would ship it to me......presto, a custom TCC air filter that NO ONE ELSE HAS.

That's what Ractive....APC and other big names in the buisiness do.

As for the comment....

the intake pics u posted... they arent in their e-product guide...

Right click on the pics, and look at the properties.....they ARE from the "toms" site.

They don't make ALL the stuff they sell. They may make the mufflers, but alot of thier "toys" are from overseas. Don't tell me that you don't recognize some of the stuff they sell as being the same stuff that Ractive sells?

Here, this will explain.......they use the different names for the different product lines they sell.

Toucan Industries

okay, the toys i can understand, their shiftknobs, and pedals are surely not made by them.

i dont really care for that crap anyways, even 5zr doesnt have good pedals or *****

all i really care about are their performance parts.. especially their catback and intakes.

The JookSingKid approves of vibrant exhaust products

I know people at Vibrant.

Anyone with a Protege5 running vibrant product can thank me.

All the test pipes and bends where done on my car.

Vibrant originally started as an industrial exhaust engineering company. The are on courtney park just south of derry road.

And they make good products.
