Vehicle Alignment Report

Went to Parkway Honda for alignment and here are the results. Let me know what you think.

First set of numbers are the before and second set of numbers are the after.

Primary Angles

Front

Caster
Left 1.1 1.1
Right 1.7 2.0

Camber
Left -2.8 -1.5
Right -0.6 -1.7

Toe
Left -6.2 0.0
Right -5.0 0.0

Rear

Camber
Left -2.6 -2.2
Right -1.8 -2.3

Toe
Left 2.5 1.2
Right 7.4 1.2

Thrust Angle -0.2 0.0

They say I still have camber after alignment which I know I can't get rid of unless I put a camber kit on. Is it necessary w/ that degree of camber???

Springs: H&R Sports 1.75 F 1.5 R

They are on a slight angle. Tires I currently got stock size for SiR rims. 195/55/15.

the numbers do not seem right. 7.4 for rear toe???? Not possible.
They also put more negative camber on the rear???
Front camber was all over the map with the before numbers.
how did the car dirve before you took it in???

Ya, I thought the numbers were wacked as well. But I had just put the H&R springs back on a couple of days ago. Car drove fine, no pulling to any sides and the steering wheel was straight. Drives the same to me now so I'm assuming work was done....

just because it drives straight, does not mean it is set up properly for tire wear.

Numbers do not seem right for tire wear.

I will check tomorrow at the shop for the specs for your car and let you know.

David.. I was assuming the numbers you posted the first one is the before and the second number is the after. am I correct?

anyways you will not see the bend. I can show you numerous upper control arms that threw my alignment out of spec and were bent but couldn't be seen..

anyways I dug up the service manual I have for your gen car.

for the front:

Camber: 0*00'+/- 1*
caster: 1*40' +/-1*
Total Toe: In 1.0+/-2.0 (1/16th +/-1/16th)

for the rear:

camber: -1* +/- 1*
Total Toe: In 2.0 +2.0/-1.0 (1/16th +/- 1/16th)

ok so it looks like your caster is within spec...however one side is at -0.3 below spec where as the other side is 0.6 above spec... so there is a difference there that you might feel ont he road.

Camber is out of spec but thats expected on a lowered car.

the rear camber I'd correct a bit with the washer trick if I was you. probably the easiest thing to fix. the fronts I wouldn't worry about the rear camber I'd use the washers to bump it out too within tolerances.

Toe is ok. within spec. personally I like a bit of Toe out on the fronts. the more the merrier. but I autocross and thats all I'm concerned with.

for the record when I said the control arm was bent I did that based on a 5th gen alginment ...t he 5th gen should have 2.2 degrees of caster...

Yes, you're correct that the first set of numbers represent the before and the second set represent the after numbers.

Ah, I see, so the bend is not even noticiably the human eye. I would take it if a mechanic even looked at it, they wouldn't even notice it was bent.

Wash trick for the rear camber sounds good, I gotta look into that one. I haven't actually read info in regards to it tho I have seen posts in regards to that subject. Will see if I can do it myself. Do you think I should get another alignment done for the rear once I complete the washer trick???

Toe, yes they said they were able to correct that w/o any problems so I will leave it alone since I'm not doing any auto crossing like yourself and its just a daily driver for me.

I appreciate the detailed response.

Thanks,
David
