Valve Adjustment

Alright this might just be an annoying repost and if it is posted somewhere else can someone please redirect me as to where I can find this information. But I am looking to do a valve adjustment on my car. As far as I know it's not that hard you just need two wrenches, screw driver and the proper feeler gauge. The car is an '88 Civic HB SE with the stock 1.5L in it. As far as I know the steps are,

- Take off spark plug wires
- Remove valve cover
- losen valve, and adjust to specs to the feeler gauge
- Tighten back up and move on
- Repeat untill all are done and replace everything

Now I am not sure if this is correct if it is thats great if not a little help please.

This is for a DOHC VTEC but the instructions are good for any engine. With a SOHC you don't need the bent wrench b/c the valves aren't deep in the head like with the DOHC VTEC.
You need to make sure the rockers aren't pushing down on the valves, you do this by settin the cylinder you are working on to TDC.

Now to set it to tdc just throw a braker bar on the crank and turn it over
