Vacuum gauge or AIR/FUEL?

I have a 93 Civic JDM Si engine and was planning on getting some gauges. I was contemplating between getting an AIR/FUEL gauge or a vacuum gauge. Which is better to get first? what does the vacuum gauge do exactly? My engine is pretty much stock (for now), until Winter fades off....

vacuum gauge is basically a reverse boost gauge. It shows how much your engine is vacuuming.

Unless you F/I, I don't see a point to it really..

a boost gauge has a vacuum on it already.

depends what u have done to your car,
Gauges are to monitor your engine's activity if highly modifed.
if you have a huge stereo, i would get Volts to see how much ur draining your battery!

Turbo - boost, EGT and A/F would be necessary... if your leaning out it will show you...

etc...
Oil pressure is good to have.

an air fuel guage is a waste of money IMO.
It is horribly inacurrate because its monitoring a narrowband signal....0-1volts i believe.
Get a oil pressure or temperature guage, water temp guage, or volts.

If you don't know what it does, then you don't need it

Save your money for something worthwhile

I'd have to say that the most usefull guage, regarless of setup that can always be used no matter what is oil pressure.

do we really want him tampering inside the engine bay trying to instal an oil pressure sending unit when he has no clue which guages he wants or what they even do?

EGT guages aren't cheap (for a good one) and for someone with a completely stock engine its pretty much useless since there isn't really any need to monitor the exhaust gas temperatures b/c its not like there's a custom tune on the ecu pushing the limits of max power and safety. But combined with a wideband o2 and datalogging setup is a very very useful tuning tool.
I would get an oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, voltmeter or fuel pressure on any setup stock, mild or wild.

i have a wbo2 lcd display that i use for most stuff like boost, egt, lambda and afr. i have autometer guages as well for boost, oil temp, oil pressure and afr (don't even look at it anymore). what i really want though is an electronic fuel pressure guage i can run in the car but they are big $.
