V6 Civic

is it in any way possible to stick a honda/acura V6 in a 98 civic? im thinking maybe a accord V6 or hopefully a 3.2 CL Type-s Motor... i know its hella heavy and big...but is at all possible, with say major mods.... or is it just too damn big?

has anyone seen it done?

anything is possible if you have the right tools and knowledge and are able to fabricate custom parts.

the reason you dont see this done is probably because its just not worth it.

there is a EK Civic powered by an NSX twin turbo engine... it ran 7-something in the 1/4 mile. Of course, it's a tube chassis with a EK fiberglass body... but it LOOKS like an EK.

as for your question, not really, it's too damn big unless you are willing to cut out the front frame and fabricate a tube chassis...

with that much money, a boosted B18C1 or H22A would be way cheaper and way faster.... heck at that price point, even a twin engine H22A front and rear AWD would be possible (there is a Del Sol with twin H22As in the works on Honda Tech... the rear engine is in last time I looked and it was built for turbo).

I don't know why you would bother... dollar for dollar you could just dump a turbo, built b-series and destroy any v6 on the road...Honda or not.

**** man.... how is it not worth it.... we are looking into the accord v6.... with a future comptec supercharger.... that think will kill... all torquey and stuff....

and IMO honda B and H series engines are just getting overpriced.... they just keep getting more and more expensive..

but now an accord V6 motor could be found at a junkyard....

well thats what i was saying... if you can do the work yourself or have friends that can help then go for it...

its when you pay a shop to figure it out it'll become non-costworthy...

i've thought of putting a rotary into my car... if i had a day or two to machine a few parts it wouldn't be to great a thing... and damn would that be cool...

Mid engined Nsx powerd coupe that would be perfect for you Jay! Get rid of those pesky back seats, replace with mechanical glory. Might even make your ride stand out in the competitive socal market.

the j30a has very little potential and parts available compared to
the B series....both J and H series engines are too heavy...ur handling and balance will suffer....
i used to be a 2000 accord v6 owner. its a good engine...
but if ur gonna do it u may as well go for a CL/TL-type s

pocket bikes are only an indication of the riders ***** size i'm told... since pocket bikes look like a taitor tot compared to a normal bike... well the riders unit must also look like a taitor tot
