you're not going to be fast no matter what intake you use, or whatever exhause you put on. You'll make a lot more noise though. The v2 makes an amazing sound. I have it, I love it. It does not make you faster though. Is the v2 worth it?? depends on the individual, but most likely I would say the v2 does exactly what every other intake does for d17 civic. It makes a cool sound. The v2 just does it better. If you don't mind throwing away your money for a cool sound, then "yes its worth it". If your not wiling to do that, then its not worth it. Just to let you know as well. The v2 intake cost more than most intakes on the market. They are rather expensive.

You want to be fast, get a turbo or a k20 swap. Those are your options for having a faster car, or just buy a faster car.

The D17 is basically unmodifiable. It was designed for effeciency, not performance. An AEM intake and Magnaflow exhaust will probably cost close to $1000 and for what? More noise and maybe 5hp.

Save the cash for a swap or spend it on the suspension.
