using vtec water pump and timing belt on nonvtec?

as my title says,

will a vtec timing belt and water pump work with the non vtec blocks with the cam gears as stuff? is there a difference in size anywhere because i know the vtec timing belt has 19 teeth as the nonvtec has 22. it should fit no problem right?

yes it will work

Is there an advantage to use 22 teeth WP/TB combo on a nonVTEC build?

edit, VTEC has 22 teeth.

the vtec water pumps has 22 teeth, so they spin slower at higher RPMs so that the coolant doesn't just fly past the cylinders and not absorb the heat.

That's what I thought I read a while ago. Thanks Andrew. Maybe I will use that combo instead of 19 teeth nonVTEC combo.

yeah especially if you plan to rev the ls/crv motor pass it's intended rev limit.
