upper ball joint
 

hey guys my upper ball joint is shot to **** its always squeaking and stuff anyways,do i need a whole new upper control arm or can i get the ball joint?

you need the whole control arm

get some omni power upper control arms....mmmmm.
It sucks how when upper ball joints go you have to replace the whole upper control arms. Oh well easier than pressin out a ball joint i guess.

Its not that hard, it can be done in the driveway with some standard tools.

Upper arm is the way to go. It costs about $80 for the ball joint, or $100 for the upper arm. So you're better off getting the whole arm rather than fighting getting the old one out and new one in to save $20

we just did one 2 days ago in the driveway in about 20 mins... its not hard at all...

ye thats what i thought,oh well so they usually go for about 100 becuz my friend works at napa and he said they go for 210??

napa price is poo on UCA's for civics. You're in mississauga? Call albion auto parts on Britannia, they're about $100 each.
