upgrading the radiator

hey my rad blew i have a b16 in a 93 civic now should i replace with a civic rad or upgrade to a bigger integra rad? and does the integra rad fit without modification? also n e ne know what they cost from honda?

Lightwaver 28-Aug-2003 09:05 PM

nope integra rad wont fit without mods. I have a integra rad in my 93 and it required custom mounts to be welded onto my frame

and if not done right, the integra rad will dent your hood when you go to close it :p

around $300ish USD :p

I wouldn't say it's too expensive considering how good it actually works :nods:

However, with all aluminum rads, in the winter time, it will take a considerable amount of time to warm up as well, but at least it's better for your car during the supa hot summer days (which by the way are numbering down  ) :nods:

I could've gotten a Koyo for $100USD brand new :banghead: but I was too late for the sale
