Upgrading/Lowering My Car
Hey everyone. This may seem like a dumb question. But what exactly do i need. Can I just buy coilovers? or do i need more than just that. I'm sure this is a simple question for most of you but I'm pretty new. Also would I be able to do this myself, or at a friends home shop? I know the person who changed my axle had it all off I believe and on in less than an hour. But I could be very wrong. I don't need it lowered really btw, its pretty low already. But the ability to adjust would be nice, and an upgrade would help me in the future. Thanks, sorry if this has been asked before.

well if you wanna adjust, which is what you indicated, then yes you need coilovers. there are two types, sleeve and full. the full coilovers include shocks.... rather the shock body is threaded to allow the perch to move up/down. so yeah.... that's what I'd recommend unless you already have kick *** shocks in which case I guess you can get some sleeves and rawk those for a while.

if u want to adjust, coilovers, if u want to be permanent, springs...
you want good shocks... good shocks very important IMO, then you can try on different coilovers to fit ur preference... or you can go springs to drop permanent... if you don't have good shocks, going full coilovers is the right thing... check the affiliates, one of them is selling omni power for 900... those are good full coilovers...
