Is this an upgrade?
Just wondering if this exhaust is an upgrade from my stock?

yea, would be a nice upgrade for 250bucks...and you wont be loud and crap, sound nice a lil performance upgrade aswell
|
it will fit with little fabrication, but there is some so dont think it bolts right up.
not bad for 250 like previously said |
Personally, I's go with an OEM 99-00 SIR exhaust. It will bolt directly on without any mods and it sounds nice. On an otherwise stock D16, the ITR exhaust won't do anything the SIR won't. I had one on my 98 Si and I was very happy with it.
$250 plus $100 to mod it to fit, I'd pass. You could probably have a custom catback made at A&A for that. |
not worth it at all...
$250? u can custom a catback for around that |
I've been looking for a stock SiR but just can't seem to get one.
|
I agree, its not bad. but for $250 than $100 to mod and install, you can get yourself a nice custom catback made up.
if you dont mind spending a little extra for complete bolt up mandrel bend performance catback. Apexi WS2 can be had fairly cheap, and they stay along the stock sounding levels (had on 94 si coupe with b18c5 motor, and currently have one on my wifes 99 Teg GSR) The car just has a deep hum to it. barely audiable. No droning or anything like that. I reccomend Apexi WS2 catback to anyone wanting more out of their engine without the rice boy sound! my 0.2 cents! |
a custom exhaust will cost you the same but it'll be louder and ****tier.
the itr exhaust is a nice upgrade. better than getting a custom exhaust with crush bending |
After calling around looks like $500.00 installed for a SS catback magnaflow system is the going rate.
