i need to remove my underdrive pulley to re time my civic and i dont have any air tools do you guys know something thatll work to remove it. ive tried a johnson bar but the engine keeps turning too much to break it loose.

yup.
That'll only work if its the crank pulley with the hex shape cut-out around where the bolt goes through.
You can also have a friend stick a pry bar in the flywheel (after removing the flywheel cover) to hold it still while you crank on the crank pulley bolt.

ok thanks zeeman i thought about trying that, removing the inspection plate off the flywheel and stopping it somehow. then prying the underdrive with a johnson bar with a 17mm.
