type r throttle body question

type r throttle body question

Will the type r throttle body fit directly into my b16a1 engine? if so does anyone know where i can get one and how much? thanks.

it is a direct bolt on. i believe you need something else too. you need to open up the intake where the tb bolts up. you wont notice a difference so dont waste your money, i had one on my b16 and i didnt notice any difference.

yes it does....but its only 2mm larger than the stock b16 one.
IMO you'd be better off boring your stock one out 4mm.

But do your mods warrant a larger throttle body? Or are you just looking to loose some torque?

doesn't have much, headers and intake, so i guess its really not worth it then. thanks for the advice
