Type R sway bars on EG H/B

Has anyone done this? What do I need to make this work....cause I know that the type R uses ball and socket type endlinks while my EG uses the sandwich type....do I need type R lower arms?

And what about the rear sway bar? what do I need for that? I know everyone talks about a "beaks" kit that strengthens the rear mounting points for the bar so that it doesnt rip apart the rear suspension....my question is where can you buy this?

any help is appreciated...

Your goign to need a beaks kit to install the sway bar. If you dont, it kinda tears our cars apart........literally.

a beaks kit is all you need AFAIK......

lower control arms from a type R wouldn't hurt any .. but if you do that you'd also need type R rear shocks too.... GSR rar arms would be a good choice...

the Beaks kit can be had from many of our fine TCC Vendors (SiR_YO, Astroboy, lordm), or if they can't get it for you, then SW20 MR2 will be able to get it.

In reference to using a GS-R rear sway bar, you need rear LCAs from a 94-01 Integra, 93-97 Del Sol, or 92 Civic EX-V. Then you will need the bar and the hardware (I have a list of the parts if anyone's doing this).

For the ITR bar in the rear, a sub-frame reinforcement kit such as the Beaks kit is highly recommended. I've found an alternate method just using OEM parts but I don't think it's capable of handling the abuse.

Quick_CX, just FYI, 99-00 SiR rear LCAs are not directly compatible with 5th gens... and they are also the same as the ones found on the other 6th gens. 6th gen rear LCAs have the mounting points for the endlinks in different locations than Del Sol, Integra and Civic EX-V, and they're there on all the models of 6th gens (meaning you don't have to swap ones in from an SiR to add a sway bar).
