Type R shifter rods??
 
anyone got an idea of how much these puppies would cost me?

any local sources?

Do you mean the rods that connect the shifter to the transmission? Cheap if you can find used ones in the classifieds. Besides, they are probably exactly the same as everyother B-series rods, so just look for any set.

forgive my newbishness but i posted this under the info i was given..which was my ef with a b16 motor and integra lsd tranny..needs the type r shifter rods for the tranny to shift smoothly through the gears. buddy of mine had to shave them a bit to make em fit as well as they do now.. so any proper advice is appreciated if ive been led to believe something false! :D

Shift linkage for EFs, EGs, and EKs
If you want a nice chunky, heavy kind of feeling to your shifting I recommend you find yourself a GS-R's shift linkage and cut it down to size. It took a little over 2 inches off to make mine fit.
If you want a stock shifter kind of feeling, again some of the higher end conversion places will also sell ready to bolt-on kind of units.
