Also does an OBD1 engine harness wire upto the Type R or would i used the guys harness from the CRX and than get a jumper from OBD2 to OBD1. How can you tell if its an OBD2 harness as well Plugs?? there are many different ways to do this swap....it can be done with type R harness...or it can be done with stock harness.....

assuming this is not JDM ITR....if it is, not recommended to use the harness cus it's reversed

here are the follow ways to do this:

1. type R harness with type R ECU, in that case you have to get a OBD conversion harness...

2. type R harness with stock ECU, then chip it for vtec...keep obd1

3. stock harness with stock ECU, then chip it for vtec..keep obd1

as for how to tell difference between harness....i am not sure, but i think obd2 harness have more plugs than obd1 harness....sumone correct me if i'm wrong

The B18C5 is an OBD2 complete. Um im pretty sure it also plugged into an P72 computer as well. I wanna do this swap the proper way not takin short cuts or half *** jobs. So i could run the type R harness and use his computer for this swap and things would be alrite...

it doesn't matter what harness you use, but if you use the obd2 ecu you need th conversion harness
