Turner Lugs Question.. Help Quick

I NEED TO DECIDE IF I SHOULD GET THE M12X1.25 SIZE OR M12X1.5 FOR HONDA CIVIC.. WHAT BRAND DO YOU GUYS RECOMMEND.. NEED TURNER LUGS AND WHEEL LOCKS

bbarbulo 15-May-2003 03:13 PM

M12x1.5 would be the correct size to get... brand depends on budget M12x1.25 is the WRX pattern which is a little finer.

Ask Si Veloz, he knows all about lug nuts and studs by now. :)

The best quality for a decent price would be McGard.

re

if i'm not mistaken the 1.25 and 1.5 refer to the thread of the bolt that the lock/lugnut will go onto. make sure u get the right one as u dont wanna be trying to force a lock/nut onto a bolt with a different thread.

and yea mcguard is one of the more well known names in this area.

You're right about the 1.25 vs 1.50 - it refers to the thread "pitch" one is finer than the other. bbarbulo nailed it with them being 12mm (diameter) x 1.50 for Honda's.

kyokugen or zenki..
mcgard is cool, but heavy compared to true tuners

lugs? ah...where to start :D
12x1.5x2.5
i'm getting Skunk2's
tho there are cheaper out there, but they're as back-ordered as anything and everything else..

how much length are you looking for ..the accords are about a 1/4" longer, never bothered checking out anything else tho..

just watch your knurl ..

thanx for the "training" bb.. :D
