Tunning Safc

i was having the same problem after my cam/spring install before i got it to the dyno. I found that playing with the air correction factor (+/- up to 15% helped for me) at narrow throttle at 1000-1500rpm helped steady out the idle.
But as gatherer stated, to tune with an afc you need to go to a dyno and use their wideband o2. Honestly you prolly won't see substantial gains from tuning a safc with just I/H/E.
For the idling issue start with the IACV on the intake manifold, take it off and clean the screen. Then check the FITV on the throttle body. Then check for a vacuum leak with some carb cleaner. Also, check the PCV valve in the IM. Also, check your o2 sensor(s).

if u got it i'd say try it. But i would try to source the idling problem and fix it if i were you.
Although, installing an afc takes minutes and you could spend hours trying to fix and idle problem.
And for how much dyno/wideband o2 time costs and the minimal gains you would get from tuning i would say its not worth it. $150/hr for dyno/wideband o2 time.
