Tune-up?

hey guys.

my car is @ about 65,000 kms and i have been doing my regular oil/filter changes. Just wondering what other kinds of stuff i should get done for regular maintenance?

btw its a manual transmission

oh. if you have a suggestion, please also include whether the thing u suggest is a DIY or a shop thing and where i can go to get it. Also if possible, include an approximate price for the item.

you can check the air filter, spark plugs, and cap/rotor yourself. If you pull one plug, and it looks ok, you should still remove them all. By removing them, you prevent the threads from getting crappy. If you put anti-sieze on the threads, just use a little bit. A good manual can show you how it's done. Tune up stuff is pretty basic, just watch you don't drop the plugs, or cross thread them.
Good luck.
