tune up....

Just wondering if a tune up consists of mainly new spark plugs?? I want to get Bosch platinum plugs or something like it but not sure if it really does anything extra. Or should I just do a tune up and get them to put in just regular pugs? If it's nothing more than new plugs mainy.. should I just put plugs in myself or do the whole tune up and expect a better ride....

thanks..

a tune up does not just involve spark plugs ussually you would want your oil changes among other things based on milage and other factors

No platinum

3 mos??? How far/hard do you drive man? Depends on where you drive, how you drive, etc... in TO traffic, ya, I'd do it every 3-4 months, but if you are like me, twice a year is cool.

are there any plugs that will give you better performance like i heard that bosch has good plugs because they burn the mixture better due to double spark or something like that.. let me know what the best spark plugs are to use and what gains they have

Hahahaha.... double spark!!! Path of least resistance states that by laws of physics there will be only ONE path for that spark to travel.
