will exhaust from a 99 SiR bolt on to a 98 Si (CDM)

cuz i was told that a USDM Si and EX exhaust are identical....even though one is for B series and one is for D series

cuz i wanna get the Spoon N1 exhaust and i was told it should still bolt onto my car but its for a B16 and i have a D16Y8

is he truthful or just tryin to make a sale?

Yup, I've had 2 of them on my car in the past. An SIR mid-pipe is going on my car this week with my Thermal axel-back. The SIR piping is a bit bigger in diameter and the resonator and muffler are different, but everything bolts together fine.
