At work we've got a truck that keeps locking itself in reverse...anyone know what causes this problem?
or have any experience with this?

Year, make/model, type of transmission?

Common for transmissions to hang in gear if its a standard transmission and the clutch is worn..

it's a GMC Topkick...not sure of the year

my dads accord had trouble going into gear when the clutch was getting bad

locking itself in reverse? as in you can't engage any other gears or disengage reverse?

check the wiring on the transmission of it's a automatic... could be that one of the solinoids are bad or something like that
