yes it shouldnt be a problem as long as they are both hydraulic, which i believe they should be

no its not. The gear ratios are about 0.001 off on like 2 gears..

The big difference between the two is the si tranny is bigger inside, bigger bearing diamiters and shaft sizes. They will work, there isnt much performance difference, the si tranny will get you out of the hole a litte faster but the same top end.
