Transmission Fluid Recommendations

Hi Everyone,
I want to flush my transmission fluid out, I drive a 99 SIR. I was wondering what people thought about Amsoil Synchromesh Synthetic transmission fluid or the GM synchromesh? I hear a lot of people say that Synthetic wears out the transmission quicker, is this true? All opinions and help is much appreciated. Thanks.

If your gears aren't grinding, use Honda MTF.

You won't go wrong with Honda MTL.

Here's a recent poll on H-T.:)

GM Syncromesh here.....feels smoother than the MTF that was in there, but maybe new MTF would feel the same.

I hate to respond to such an old thread .... BUT ... try Amsoil MTF. You won't be disappointed.
