Tranny Swap (please Advise)

i am currently working on a 95 civic hb with an auto tranny and the weakest engine i have ever driven (d15) i am thinking about swapping to one of the d16's avalible on the site because they are cheap and my girlfriend (owner of the car) wants to drive standard now that she has practiced on my celica and AE86.

To do a tranny swap what is needed in a 95 civic hatch

i have heard that it's nearly a bolt in and the only difficult part is putting in a clutch pedal but can't really believe that it's all that simple.

if anyone on ethis site has done it PLEASE let me knwo what your experience with it was and how it worked out for you.

and for all you guys that are gonna say DO A B16 or an H22 or something....frankly i agree but her dad can't really see the benifit of all that extra power when she is only learning to drive a manual......maybe if she gets good then he'll spring a few extra bucks for the next engine. but all the rebuild and cosmetic **** is costing a fortune so a d16 seems to be the cheapest and most avalible option for now....

HELP

6th gen auto-to-manual

Look for my post in the middle, most of what's there applies to oyu.. the part about the tranny mount is a MUST for your car.. the part about the intermediate shaft is not neccesary form what i recall but y0u should get new drive shafts anyways....anything else you need clarified just ask. My car was auto for 9 years and manual for the last year and a bit.
