tranny swap from auto to 5spd

tranny swap from auto to 5spd
Is this expensive to do? I got a 94 SI with auto and i bought it cuz i got a really good deal on it ($2800 w/ everythin).
The problem is I feel like my automatic transmission 70 000 km later is starting to shift harder and harder. When I drop it to reverse, the car jumps hardcore. The car has over 330 000 km all orig. Lets say when my tranny stops working, is it going to be really expensive to swap it into 5spd?
Should I just sell the car before it gets worse? The thing bout selling a car and buying new its a pain in the *** and my car right now has been taken good care off, not even 1 little spot of rust. I dont think anybody would pay me much for a car with mileage that high.
What is the best to do?
