Tranny Problem

Tranny Problem
Hi, I ran into a very very strange thing that just happened to my car very recently. The car has 2000 SiR drivetrain and was running very nice until today. On the highway, doing about 120km/hr with my foot on the gas, the car just totally lost power, fell right flat on the face. The engine is running, it's revving but no power is going to the wheels. When I downshift to 4th, same thing, and also in 3rd gear too. Then I pull off the highway and stop and start accelerating again and it's fine. The tranny doesn't grind at all, very very smooth in all gears, doesn't leak either, it's not the engine because I rev it everytime I downshift and it just revs. I am worried it might be the tranny but one more thought when thru my head, could it be the clutch? Could the clutch be slipping at 120km/hr???? Please let me know what your thoughts are, Thanks

thanks
Thanks for your response guys, atleast I have some confirmation that this isn't the transmission, I was worried that it would be. It's easier to find a clutch than a new transmission. When it happens on the highway, I just stop and go, I don't wait for it to cool down or anything. The last time it happened I was on Allen road heading north and I went from 5th all the way down to 2nd, and in 2nd I finally was able to put the power to the ground, but then if I step on it in 2nd, it slips again. It only does it when I am giving it, like 130+, now I just drive around carefully, very carefully, slowly so it doesn't do it but as soon as I step on it, a little bit later it starts to slip, I guess because of all the heat build up on the clutch plate. The gears that slip are 3rd to 5th, 2nd too a little bit but mostly higher gears.
