tranny nosie?

tranny nosie?

hows it going ok i'm sitting at a light in nutral, and all i hear is a nocking noise coming from the tranny when i press in the clutch it goes away, but sounds kinda of like a propeller nocking on something, pretty load, its a stock DX tranny from what i know

any one know what could be wrong with it

also any one have a write up on how to change the tranny or what i do to change it from the DX to a SI please let me know thanks

scott newman is correct 100%

and sure... till it seizes up

replacing the DX tranny with an Si one isn't brain surgery. Remove one, install the other. I think that's a pretty good write-up right there.

Pretty much when doing your clutch, just switch trannies.
