My tranny is making like a churling/gringing noise when i shift or hold the lever,it does not make any noise it rattles in 4th when i'm NOT holding the shift lever.NOTE: it still shifts smootly, anyone has good experience with D series trannies? what could it be? hope it's not sad news.

could just be pooched stabalizer bushings for your shifter... they are cheap and clean up the shifting motion a lot... maybe check into them

they aren't actually in the tranny... but if your shifter rattles thats what it could be mine were pretty bad when they came out

but like most things that are posted up here the best thing is to just take it to someone who knows what to look for and see what they say cause internet auto diagnosis can only be vague
