I have a JDM gsr with JDM GSR tranny with LSD..and first gear, and reverse...sometimes they dont go in all the way...my shifter throws are really short, and i push it in but it wont go, or it goes in half way only and grinds...why is that? Its a bitch to have to take it out..and try to get it in properly all the time...how much is a tranny rebuild?

Also..splitfire did the work in 1 day...and the car is amazing! great job!

if it goes in half way just put a bit of pressure on the shifter and slowly let go of the clutch and it will go into gear

oh ok..also, how high does JDM GSR rev? i have the JDM EG SI cluster with 8k Redline..so what is my real engine redline?

thanks...also, can it just be my synchros? i noticed i cant chirp gears..maybe it is just my gas/clutch co-ordination?

i believe that syncros only grind when putting in into a gear, not when it already in there, dont quote me on it though

I would have to agree with kwikb16a2... synchros only work to mesh the gears together.
