Tranny fluid is much more advanced then conventional oil..

I have used GM Syncromesh in the past and I felt the tranny shifted much smoother afterwords. Regular oil is only supposed to be used temporarily.

I tried Honda MTF in my OEM LSD tranny and I got hella clutch chatter so I recently switched to Royal Purple Syncromax and the chatter went away. I've also tried GM syncromesh in the past but didn't notice any difference compared to Honda.

Your tranny fluid caused clutch chatter?

The tranny fluid and the clutch fluid are 2 totally different fluids and in 2 different areas. How would the gear oil effect the clutch fluid.

I'm not an expert by any means, in fact I know very little.... but I'm pretty sure clutch chatter is caused by the mating surfaces of your clutch/flywheel being warped or scored and no tranny fluid in the world will fix that. Ohh I too am using GM syncromesh, it's good stuff but I don't have lsd so I guess it really doesn't matter what I'm running. Try OEM Honda I say
