Too much oil?

Too much oil?
Hey, am i going to do any damage to my engine if I overfill the oil.

By say a few mL? Engine take 4L and i put in 4.5mL?

Do I need to drain the extra?

Nah - you'll be okay...just leave it. That amount of extra is negligable.

if u can start the engine then u will be fine. in some case the overfill engine oil make the car wont start.

Overfilling the engine is BAD.

If you're only a few ml, then you're fine...

But if you're more than a liter, you'll cause serious damage to your seals.

and overfilling tends to aerate the oil too...
parts get coated in an air-oil film..

think milkshake..
