Okay guys, after changing my 2 front tire & alignment & new air filter last week.
5 days ago i took 30L fuel and i was able to drive 240 K.M

So what you guys think? is it still high mileage?

Should i take my car to the mechanic? If so who you recommend? thanks

Yes, most certainly. you are only getting 18.8mpg, that car is supposed to get 30mpg in the city and 38mpg on the hwy. Ofcourse it may be hard to see those numbers, but something close to that is most certainly doable.

Get it checked out, get a quote and if its outragiously expensive, find out what it is, and see if you can do the labour yourself for whatever needs to be replaced.

Hell, with no o2 sensor, crushed exhaust and no tune, i get 26mpg and there are quite the few things wrong with my car. plus its 2.0L.

Today, i took it to honda dealer, they said, you can not judge mileage in the city area, if you drive in winter time in city all the time with red light stop and go etc etc..

So they wanted to test drive on highway, so i drove 55 KM and come back 55KM, total 110 KM, which 100 Km on highway & 10 KM on city, Result was 8.4 Liter.

And they said everything is okay, 8.4 liter is good for 110 K.M which i also think its okay.

However, i don't understand, when i drive in city it take 13.5 Liter per 100 K.M may be due to too many red light stop and go, also i warm up car in the morning before i go to work, also could be because it i winter, could be any factor.

but slowly i will learn and drive accordingly... hopefully i can drive under 10 Liter per 100 k/m in the city someday.

so thanks all of you who help me and advice me. cheers

Damn, well atleast you know you're car is all good.

Make sure you dont have tons of weight and dont step on the gas hard off every light. Drive slower/smoother, will be better on gas.
