Tires

What are your favorite brand of tire? Summer/Winter/All Season? Model of tire from company?

Mine for summer would be the Yokohama Parada Spec-2.
All Season would be Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.
Winter would be Michelin Arctic Alpin.

You would not catch me DEAD driving a car that had MOTOMASTER or WALMART brand tires on it!

Kent....your opinion of summer tires is bias though because you have them.

They're Toyo Proxes not Proxies, and I'd take the Yoko AVS ES100 instead (better wear rating and less road noise) for that level of tire.

Summer - Old school Yoko's...don't remember the model cuz it's been 7 years now. I like the Parada's also, but they suck in the wet.

Winter - Dunlop Graspic HS-1's

All season - don't know...never used them.

Falken Azenis 205/50/15
Bridgestone Weatherforce 185/65/14
BFG Radial M/T 31x10.5x15

but the Motomasters I got with my winter car are awesome too... I only got stuck once this whole winter... during a HUUUUGE storm in Feb when then entire time driving I was listening to my floorpan scrape the snow. They are just all seasons too... not winter tires. So I give them props.

Just a question...

Is having the ice from the road (if you drive in too deep snow) scrape the bottom of your car and/or floorpan good or bad for your car? Or does it not matter?

Snow is doable, ice is bad... but my winter car is plastic LOL so it doesn't matter haha... j/k the Saturn still has metal floors, but they are rubber coated so it doesn't matter. Usually it's not a big deal, so long as nothing there gets scratched. Hitting a rock or big road kill... that's harsh
