tire sizing question
I'm looking at getting a new set of tires for the fiance's 03 Civic to replace the crappy OEM Firestones. The OEM size is 185/65/15, and I was looking at upgrading to a 195/55/15 or even a 205/50/15 on the stock steelies. My question is, with the different sized tires, the speedo will be off (too fast) by around 5km/h. Aside from the speedo being a little off, will there be any adverse effects to the car (motor, tranny, ecu, etc.)? Will it alter the odometer reading at all, or even the oil change and service intervals?

I was actually thinking 205/55/15 for a bit lower profile, and a better look once the car is lowered. The speedo will only be off by 2.4km/h. Will it effect anything mechanically or otherwise? I'm guessing the odometer will read a little high, but that just means her services (oil, etc.) will happen a bit sooner then needed.
