Don't buy a 17" inch rim...

It wil make your car VERY VERY SLOW...

I'm not joking..

Buy yourself a nice pair of Japanese Tuner wheels in 15"..

You will thank me later...

yeah i know....but can you answer the question???

the guy hasn't got back to me yet....he wants to get rid of them badly....so i'll talk him down. i've always wanted these rims, and 17s do have the appearence that i want, but i do love my SiR rims.

speaking of slow, they weigh an outrageous 30pds!!!!!!

i'll need turbo just to keep up with stock engines.

I've got 205-40-17 Yok's on 17x7.5 rim on my EG, they fit fine, stay away from curbs though. Also, depending on offset they may slightly rub the rear fender (mine do but I'm running H&R Race). I'd get 17x7 if I was buying new at this point. Mine are super heavy too, I don't know how much but ouch!!!

Re: tire size question???

It will fit no problem, but there will be no tire little bulge. Thus, you have to be very careful about curbing the rim.

It's where the tire sidewall sticks out past the rim and protects the rim from curb rash. The rim is wide, and hence will be flush with the tire sidewall, and can easily get damaged.

Yep, typo. I forgot to take out the "little". Here's a pic of my old wheels:

The fronts were 16x7.5 with a 205/45/16 tire.

James, you really don't want 17" 30lb. wheels on your car.

Go for 16" lightweight wheels!

I know you like those wheels James but I don't know man... too heavy and too big. So nice though.

go with 205's, i had 215/40's and it was just a tad to wide for the rear fender lip clearance, kept on hitting at bumps.

215/40/17's
