tire roll
Hey Guys
When I pull out of my driveway first thing in the morning and make a left turn it feels as though my front right tire rolls. When I make a right turn everthing feel good. I recently put on a set of four new Falken ze 512's. I had the front end checked out at Honda and they say everthing is tight. The car has 290 000 km. Any idea's. Thanks |
explain what it means a tire 'rolls'. I was under the impression tires normally rolled.
explain the sensation. |
my tires feel like they're rolling everytime i drive the car.
Is this bad? |
"make a left turn it feels as though my front right tire rolls."
Sounds like a big problem.. |
Maybe he means the entrie car rolls or sways to the side.
|
tires are round and ment for rolling.
anyone have a clue what this guy is asking? |
I think what he means is that all the wait of the car is going onto the front right strut insted of the front and the back struts.
|
^^ i hope that was a joke
|
if your takin about the "roll" of a car your takin about the centre of gravity changing.... when making a left the centre of gravity goes to the right front.. which i doubt you need to fill us in with some more info. like other people said the tire IS suppost to roll (the sidewall having flex)

in all seriousness, I think he experienced a change in toe with a left turn. this would make it feel as though the tire is rolling over on itself.
that being said, tie rods, ball joints, lower control arm bushings and your steering rack are all suspect. another front end inspection is in order. tell ya what... try this.... make a left turn and let go of the steering wheel a lil bit. normally, there steering wheel should self-center (straighten out) as you make the turn. if it doesn't, your alignment is fuct and you will prolly need some sort of front end work. |
Understeer perhaps...

Yes it was
