Tire Recommendations?

It's that time of year again when I am looking for summer tires. The past two years I was lucky and found a hookup on tires from Japan. I had Bridgestone Grid 2's and Bridgestone RE01's. Both of these tires were awesome. Very good performance. I don't think I will be able to get the Bridgestones again this year for my good deal so I'm looking around at other tires. Anyone have any recommendations? I was looking at Toyo T1'S's and Falken Azenies so far. The Toyo's seem good all around and the Falkens seem good except for when it comes to wet conditions. I am looking for a tire that is stable around corners at high speeds and good steering response. I also had an opportunity to get Kumho 712 tires. I'm not too sure about Kumho's. Does anyone have anything to say about the 712? Any info or rating, advice, locations to buy good tires, etc would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was actually originally looking at Bridgestone Potenza SO-2 last year, and Michelin Pilot Sport...so these seemed on par for me. Expensive tires were the only ones that made the size I was after (225/45/16)

How much are the Yoka Prada's in comparison? I think they are less expensive.

Not as expensive as you think. I saw your other post about the rotas.

I got quoted $112 installed balanced etc 195/50/15 (ES100)

712s are decent not the best, not the worst. Check out the new MX tire supposed to be alot better than 712.

Fuzion is supposed to be real good -- > parent company is Bridgestone.

Dunlop no experience but from what I have read on HT not the greatest.

My buddy is picking up a set of cooper zx2 (I think)

For a good bang for the buck tire through much research i have heard nothing but good about the ES100's.

Falken's Azien are supposed to be pretty good too but tread wear is not the greatest for hard driving.
the RT-615 tread pattern looks crazy

Toyo T1S also an awesome tire.....T1R's look awesome but very expensive.

Yup.. had T1-S, wish I could get T1-R's but I'll be running the Cooper Zeon 2XS... i'm not expecting T1-S performance but hopefully close to it. Will find out in about 24hrs!!
I'm Sure the ES100 are really good tires too... but I tend to do stupid things like trying something different just cuz it's different.
