heres the simple... the wider you go the more rubber that hits the ground improving responsiveness. To be honest though ... are you really debating the size because of the added bit response becuase your kind of taking away the gains for going bigger because of the tires you are selecting. They are decent tires but if you care that much for the added 10 you should save some money and put some good tires on there... as for the rubbing... I dont think you will experience it unless you go passed 2 inch drop. and if your really that worried but you want the bigger tires get coil overs!
