hey does anyone know generally how much air is suppose to be in your tires? I have 15" stock tires on my SIR, its the same Michilen XGT tires that came with the car from Honda.

yes, and I inflate 5-10psi higer than it says to...better gas mileage and keeps the tire's belts and other layers tighter

cause i inflated my tires to 28 i think, petro canada, just under 3, and now the steering wheel is wabbling, i think the tire has a bulge in it or something. The wheel shakes side to side by its self so im gonna try to put the pressure back down and see what happens. F**k first a platic interior piece cracked for no reason probably cause it was cold, then a truck pitched a rock and busted my windshield, now the f***in wheel is wabaly, NOT A GOOD WEEK 4 ME

****, so you not suppose to inflate to what it says on the tire itself? cause my honda comes with stock 14" and tire pressure on the tire says 35, so should i have ti at that? i also have 15" on that says 35 as well, so what should i do? and for sure it is a good idea to go 5-10psi over????

i balanced the tires and made sure the pressure is right, even the freggin mechanic didnt know what was wrong, the wheel is still shaking around from side to side, he said i have to change the tires cause their bald and could be worped, but you would be able to see if their worped on the balance machine wouldnt you?

If their balanced then it should be fine. Could this be a problem on your car. Try other rims and tires and see if the shaking goes away. If it doesn't then its your car.

Yeah replace them and for summer or track tires, the tires should be left in a warm place in the house or they will dry up and crack.

Recommend psi is around the settings, what ppl have posted..
36psi = front 34psi = rear (for 15inch rims OEM)

the balance machines only spin so fast... they can't simulate belt seperation if it occurs at very high speeds.

thanks boyz i got it fixed, i had 2 tires balanced and they were fine at 1 shop, then when i left it was still shaking, then i said forget it let me buy 2 new tires, so i went to tire world in brampton and i told the guy to give me 2 new tires and balance all 4, well the 2 back were screwed up, they were worped or had a bulge in them, so i bought 2 used ones and now the problem is fixed.
