tire help

Hey All,

I am planning to get a set of tires for my 96 civic. The car is totally stock. I'm lookin to get all season tires. Don't want to spend a heck of dough on them. I'm currently looking at the motomaster lxr tires that are on sale at crappy tire for 72 bucks each. Today my friend let me know of this place selling Toyo spectrum for 420 installled.
Which one do you guys think i should get? Any opinions??

I guess the real question is..is motomaster any good?

If anyone who knows a place or selling a set let me know. 195 55 or 60 r15.

Thanks

Motomaster tires are made by BFGoodrich and Michlean.
I'd stay away from them though they're pretty crappy imo.

Only thing CT has with the I like with there tires is the tire warrenty. It's pretty kick *** actually.

it depends on what kinda driver you are... seriously... if you're not like a driver that would go 60,80, or 100 on ramps or like high speed on turns... tires doesn't make your life much different... as for a regular drive, i don't see why moto is bad... i'm sure there are tons of drivers out there that doesn't use toyo, yoko, nanking, nokian, etc... but they still drive safe and stable... so i guess... as long as crappy tires give you the hella good warranty and also if you're a normal daily driver that drives hella safe and cautious... moto tires is not so bad...

When I picked up my Civic in January, I got Bridgestone Insignia 200 for $450 taxes in, installed and balanced at Superior Tire. Decent tire so far, not that quiet, but good in snow and wet weather, and has a 30-day return policy.

tires make a huge difference....

TIRES ARE THE ONLY THING KEEPING YOU TO THE ROAD...

I dunno why the comment above was even added, but if I were you I'd spend some money on tires, as they are the most important thing on a car.

Get the toyo spectrum tires. I use to work at cdn tire, installing tires. I always had to do tire changes due to buldges on the sidewall of the crappy motormaster tires.

haha... I can say it cause I was there to experience it, LOL.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever changed a rough rider tire. Not to many trucks ever came into the shop though. If trucks did come into the shop, they would not be coming in to change/repair tires.

I would assume that all cdn tire brand tires suck, but I'm not 100% sure on those rough riders.

Spend a bit more and get better tires. As mentioned before, the tires are the only thing keeping you on the road. Its better to be safe than sorry.
