tire advice

Hey,
I need advice on a well balanced set of 195-15-45 or 50 summer tires.
I'm looking for the best bang for the buck essentially.
So if anyone know where I can get decent tires and for a decent price let me know.

thanks !

In my opinion, the Parada's are an excellent tire...only on dry road. Not so great in the rain.
As for bang for the buck, the Parada's would not be what you're looking for. I heard the Kuhmo Ecsta's are pretty cheap, and they're suppose to be an awesome tire.

Yokohama AVS ES100... excellent tire for the price. Read the reviews.

I agreed 100%.

IMHO, if you want the best bang for your buck, check:

1. Kumho Ecsta 712 Supra

OR

2. Falken Azenis (starting from 205 for 15", I think).

Toyo T1-S is the most loved tire amongst sport compact enthusiasts, but it's pricey!!

For the best bang for the buck, stick with the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712. I have a set of 195/50/15 z rated and they are excellent in both wet and dry conditions. As for prices, just call around to any of your local tire shops and you'll propably be able to get a good deal.

Kumho now makes a ultra high perf tire called an Ecsta MX instead of the other high perf tire Ecsta Supra 712. www.tiretrends.com has the most excellent prices.

I recommend the T1-S from Toyo, and SW20's price is prolly the best deal I've heard of in a long time. I'd recommed them.

I have bought both TOYO T1S and Kumho Ecsta Supra 712, and IMO the Kumho kill the TOYO's especially in the rain.

I would suggest the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's as well, very good tire for the money. Stay away from the Yoko Paradas and the BFG G-force TA-KD, unless you want a set of tires that will barely last one season.

I also went to greenbay tires today and they quoted me at $470 for four Kumho Ecsta 712 supra.

if you are harcore the only tire you want is the falcon azien1s. thats it . it what i run and i would not buy any other tire. well there is one but is has a 50 tread wear so..... well if i had the cash to replace my tires every month id get them but falcon is the way to go.

14 inch falcon road cours tire with 200 tread wear is 85 bucks.
15 is 125
