Timing Belt + Water Pump Makes
I have a quick questions in regards to the make/model of standard timing belts on a d16 .. i dont do much work on her so i apologize in advance heh ..
i noticed that some of the belts under the hood are "Gates" type belts, i do distribution for gates and im wondering what model # or size im looking to get when im ready to replace my Timing Belt ? also just thought id try the same for the water pump.. we sell those too .. thanks in advance :thumbup: |

you do distribution for gates but can't get a part number? I would think you would be the guy to talk to for part numbers for gates.

gates timing belts are ok, I try the lead away from them with my customers. Oem honda belts always fit and tension the best.

yeah, the parts aren't that much anyways, it's the labour that kills.... so don't cheap out on parts just cuz you can get them free.... go to honda.
I use Gates rad hoses and serpentine belts on beater cars though. |
