Timing belt & water pump

Hey, just wondering how much will it cost to do get my timing belt and water pump done? Just an estimate.

BTW, how much for the items? and how much for the actual labour?

Thanks.

i did mine on my b16a
pump-80
tbelt-70
i installed myself in a day and reset the timing this was with the engine IN the car and many little beginner errors like forgettins something and dropping bolts in the tbelt cover(then you have to take it all apart again and do it over...

-Matt

btw if you have tools and jackstands, DIY its not too hard with a helms

Being a paid member, I got a discount from Parkway Honda on the parts. I won't say how much, but it was worth the drive from Hamilton to there. Another member (Scott93HBSi) did the work for me for a 1/4 of the price a Honda dealer would charge.

I did mine at 155,000k's. The belt was still in perfect shape, but my water pump was making a funny noise indicating the bearings were going. Honda recommends 160,000 under normal driving conditions, or 100,000 under extreme weather or driving conditions. I drive on the highway mostly and it only gets very, very cold a few times in the winter, so I went the distance. It's pretty cheap to get it done if you know someone, so I'd get it done at 100 to be safe.
