Timing Belt Issue

Okay well, my car one day coming off the hwy.. started to run like ****, the whole chassis was shaking.

Now.. after a weekend of diagnosising I couldn't really find the problem, I was pretty confused.. did a compression test.. to my wonders cyl 1 read 125, cyl 3 read 140psi, or something around there. Needless to say I was baffled (it just read 180psi a month ago) I immediately thought my timing was way off. So I took off the timing belt cover and VC to check the cam gears if they skipped a tooth. I set them both to UP (which btw looked like they were off 1/2 a tooth), so I look down at the crank pulley marks and what do I see?

Looks like its at 8-10 degrees when it should be at the white mark (0BTDC). Now I'm just looking for final confirmation. Did my TB skip a few teeth or what? I'm 99.9% sure but its always nice to confirm these things before I do a tear down.

p.s. I hope I bent a valve maybe this is a sign that a b20vtec is on the way

actually on second thought, i hope I didn't bend a valve lol

I'm out of weed, shutup.

The only reason I checked the timing belt was cause I was high. Working on your own car clean is no fun..

I bet its just the tensioner that crapped out.. cause when I turned the crank I could feel the belt tightening like it was loose then as soon as i turned it a bit it got tight.

Either way, he would of checked it out when i told him to do my TB

I dont even know why I made this thread. It even says in the manual set the crank pulley to 0BTDC and make sure the cam gears are lined up blahblah.

I guess I was just stoned lol
