timing belt??

timing belt??

how much will it run me to change my timing belt??..oh yeah i have an eg sedan. any recommendations in TRUSTED shops around gta preferably around scarb. thanks

i would recommend that u also change your waterpump at the same time

Timing belt is cheap to replace, but the water pump needs to be change every 100K along with the timing belt. The costs of parts and labour is about $700. That includes the cost of belt and water pump. Pulling out the motor will run you about 400-500. There is no way to get around this, it is a must.

Roadsport Honda is my dealership, after 10k on my civic, I stop going to those people. Extremely expensive and bad attitude. If you really want dealership quality, then try Formula Honda. Same price but better treament.

Dalt's Honda charged me $500 for a new timing belt & water pump..AND they gave me a free honda key chain! (water pump was only $400 - belt was $100)

Timing belt job

The cost for timing belt and waterpump is around 200 with tax....
Labour is around 2 to 2.5 hrs...

I know, cuz I have the Chilton Labour Guide. So look for around the $400 range and don't get screwed.
