is this a DIY job ? or do i have to take it somewhere to do?
how would i do it? what am i looking for?

adjust your rear drums (if you have em) and open the little door on your center console and theres to cables held by 10mm nuts

agreed.. but dont adjust the handle untill you adjust the rear brakes. theres a screw either under the drum or on the back somewhere i forget. i say take it to a mechanic

If you have to adjust it might be time to replace something. ie the cable might be streched or the shoes/pads might be worn.

well what are you trying to adjust, how the rear brakes bite when you brake, or how far you can pull the ebrake handle? I only mess with one thing at a time. if I'm doing brakes, I won't touch the cable adjustment, I'll turn the adjusters till I can't turn the wheel by hand at 3 clicks on the ebrake.
